Sourcing oral histories and female accounts, delving into archives, and mapping sites associated with different forms of mining, exploitation, and confinement, Rossella Biscotti will deepen her research interest into colonial structures of power and management at the turn of the 20th century and the way in which these structures are interwoven with contemporary practices of production and distribution.
Convening a critical mass of artists, thinkers and participants, ‘Dhaka Art Summit 2020: Seismic Movements’ (DAS 2020) will provoke us to reconsider (art) histories, movement, borders and fault lines. “The Standing Wave”, Rossella Biscotti & Kevin van Braak’s collaborative installation commissioned by steirischer herbs will be on display at the Eisernes Tor in Graz, Austria. The installation will be displayed until October 14, 2018.
