As part of the program of Cosmopolis #2, Julieta Aranda participates in a talk with architect Mpho Matsipa and curator Chus Martínez.
Cosmopolis focuses on research-based and collaborative art practices, constructing bridges between new forms of creative experimentation and critical vocabularies from contemporary theory, between reconceived geographies and histories. Through residencies, exhibitions, discursive programs and publications, it engages with artists whose work is concerned with the production of relationships and the exchange of knowledge.
This year’s Focus section concentrates on the question: What is the experience of a state that is not based on territory, but on time?

The “Broken Symmetries” exhibition will be hosting works by Julieta Aranda, as she is one of the artists that worked during the “Collide International Residency”. Works will be on view until March 3, 2019.
