The work of Lara Almarcegui is participating at the exhibition “4,543 milliards. La question de la matière”, curated by Latitudes for the CAPC musée d’art contemporain in Bordeaux. The exhibition is open from June 29 2017 through January 1st 2018.
This Friday 16 of June 2017, Lara Almarcegui will be in conversation with Itziar Okariz at the Kunsthausbaselland as part of Art Basel’s Art Parcours Night.
For her installation at the Springhornhof, Lara Almarcegui poured 120 cubic meters of sand on the ground floor of the Kunstverein, creating a link between the historical exhibition building and the natural occurrence of the raw material necessary for its construction.
