Charwei Tsai
Charwei Tsai nació en 1980 en Taiwán
Actualmente vive y trabaja en Taipei, Taiwán
Se graduó en Diseño Industrial e Historia del Arte y la Arquitectura en el Rhode Island School of Design (2002) y completó el programa de investigación de posgrado La Seine en la École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts en París (2010).
Multiples inquietudes altamente personales pero a la vez universales estimulan la práctica multimedia de Tsai. Temáticas geo-políticas, societales y espirituales estructuran un cuerpo de trabajo que alienta a la participación activa del espectador. Preocupada con la relación humano/naturaleza, Tsai medita sobre la compleja relación entre las creencias culturales, la espiritualidad, y la transitoriedad.

Tsai también publica desde el 2005, semestralmente, una revista titulada Lovely Daze. La serie completa de Lovely Daze hace parte de las bibliotecas de la Tate Modern, Londres, Museo de Arte Moderno, Nueva York, Centre Pompidou, París, y el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona.
