Uriel Orlow one of the winners at The Prix Meret Oppenheim

We are pleased to announce that Uriel Orlow is one of the recipients of the 2023 Swiss Grand Award for Art/Prix Meret Oppenheim to outstanding artists, architects, curators, researchers and critics.

The Prix Meret Oppenheim is not timeless but rather a mirror of social change, and the work of this year’s three winners is characterized by inclusivity, an interdisciplinary approach, and dialogue with diverse actors. Created in 2001 by the Federal Office for Culture in collaboration with the Federal Art Commission, it is awarded on the recommendation of the Commission to artists and other actors of the art world whose internationally renowned work is of particular relevance and importance to Swiss artistic and architectural practice. Each award carries a grant of CHF 40 000.

Congratulations, Uriel!
