New exhibition @ mor charpentier Bogotá

Our current exhibition Más allá de las nubes is now open at mor charpentier Bogotá.

The group show explores the ever-increasing blurred definitions of belonging and resisting as borders are officially strengthened and the relationship between civic society and state forces grows more strained. The artists featured have explored resistance and going beyond impositions by resigning national symbols and ideals they represent, carrying everyday life despite restrictions, and creating spaces of one’s own through actions that defy imposed conditions.  The works of Anas Albraehe, Alexander Apóstol, Teresa Margolles and Charwei Tsai highlight the varied and ambiguous ways one can relate to the country and place of one’s own.
