New Exhibition: L’art de la joie @mor charpentier

Liliana Porter‘s solo show L’art de la joie is now open at mor charpentier Paris

The exhibition unfolds works separated by more than five decades of artistic trajectory which can be explored by, on one hand, the notions of the manipulation of the concept of time, and on the other, the assumption of a political position, fundamentally anti-war and rejecting all forms of conflict. Her work research goes from material decisions regarding the medium she uses, up to the images she references to in her assemblages and drawings. The links that we can establish between the pieces exposed are multiple —sometimes surprising— and reveal a coherent conceptual framework over time in Porter’s career.
