New Exhibition: Bittersweet Symphony @mor charpentier Paris

Bittersweet Symphony is now open!

The show invites us to consider the effects of humans on ecosystems while at the same time fantasizing about their absence as an ultimate symptom of a catastrophe in the making —perhaps also as a “solution” to the problem through the work of 5 different artists.
From Fabien Conti‘s monumental series of paintings regarding what we can consider natural disasters of our time to Lara Almarcegui’s documentation of the deserted landscape of an industrial complex in Lleida, destined to the transformation of various minerals into usable construction materials, the exhibition explores the idea of contemporary witnesses of natural collapse next to the role of society to conceive it as a human responsibility.

Bittersweet Symphony is on view until april 8, 2023. Don’t miss it
