Desdoblar el tiempo unfolds as an exploration of time not as something linear or fixed, but as an experience that bends, overlaps, and reappears through materials, gestures, and forms. Bringing together works from different moments of Mateo López’s career, the exhibition creates a simultaneous space where ideas, images, and processes coexist—where folding, repetition, and transformation reveal how the everyday can shift into abstraction.
Through drawing, sculpture, installation, and movement, his work navigates between memory and construction, transforming fragments—notes, objects, gestures—into evolving constellations. Folding, repetition, and transformation become central operations: moments where the everyday turns abstract, and where time itself seems to bend, overlap, and reappear.
For ARTBO Fin de Semana, the exhibition invites viewers into a suspended temporal landscape, where meaning emerges through encounter, displacement, and the poetic logic of materials.
