For this show, Abu Hamdan proposes a series of works immersed in the concept of โ€˜atmospheric violenceโ€™, an idea that can be witnessed interruptions, silences, โ€˜sonificationโ€™ of images and historic sounds linked to witnesses, among others. The exhibition showcases an auditory atlas created from Hamdanโ€™s approach to the expanded possibilities of the engagement of listening as an historic act, but also as a quotidian gesture.

The show will feature new iterations of recent multi-sensory works, including the commissioned piece titled Air Conditioning (2022), which links the ocular and the auditory regarding the 2006 July War between Israel and Lebanon.
