Discover Lara Almarcegui’s inedit project Mâchefer – Villeurbanneat the latest show La Fabrique de Nous – Quels Territoires.
The exhibition questions the concept of territory, either political, physical or imaginary, in the different scales the idea handles. How can we inhabit these spaces and how do we apprehend these environments that surround us?
La Fabrique de Nous – Quels Territoires asks about the extension of ourselves in the territory in a process that is both personal and collective.
In Mâchefer – Villeurbanne, Almarcegui highlights the specificities of a building of the local territory, creating a link between the social and politic history of the city. Her proposal explores the different connections that can be established between architecture and the urban order in Villeurbanne.
