Kader Attia : Prix de sculpture 2026

We are pleased to announce that Kader Attia has been awarded the Sculpture Prize by the Académie des beaux-arts.

A major figure of the international contemporary art scene, Kader Attia has developed a multidisciplinary practice exploring identity, memory, repair, and the lasting effects of colonial histories. Through sculpture, installation, film, and research-based works, his practice continuously questions how societies construct and transmit cultural narratives.

Winner of the Prix Marcel Duchamp in 2016, Attia’s work has been presented in major international institutions and exhibitions worldwide.
