We are excited to announce that Kader Attia, the “Hôte du Louvre” for 2025, will lead a series of insightful lectures at the Auditorium du Louvre Michel Laclotte from April 3 to September 25, 2025. During these sessions, Attia will examine the intricate connections between the body, the gaze, and art, exploring how cultural and social histories influence our perceptions. His talks will address themes like the relationship between the body and the gaze, the legacies of modernity and colonialism, and the shifting nature of perception in the era of digital and algorithmic governance. These interdisciplinary events will combine theory and practice, offering the public a chance to engage in a fresh reflection on our interaction with art, society, and the digital landscape.
