Julieta Aranda @MUAC

We are pleased to announce Julieta Aranda’s upcoming solo exhibition Clear Coordinates for Our Confusion at MUAC.

This showcase explores Aranda’s artistic production in recent decades through the perspective of her collaboration with time, understood not only as an object of investigation but as an autonomous, active interlocutor. Through different media, Aranda highlights events and moments in which time escapes the Western’s attempt to domesticate time and use it as a tool of control. The works presented question the implications of defining ourselves through time, in different scales and planes.
