Hajra Waheed is the winner of the 2022 Mid-Career Award

We are pleased to announce that Hajra Waheed is the recipient of the 2022 Mid-Career Award for Outstanding Achievement as an Artist given by the Hnatyshyn Foundation, which granted her $25,000. This award is granted to an artist that has demonstrated excellence and innovation in their body of work and who shows promise of outstanding artistic achievement in the years ahead.

Established in 2005, The Hynatyshyn Foundation is a quiet little engine that gathers arts professionals from across the country annually to select one curator to receive the curatorial award for excellence and one artist to receive the mid-career award for outstanding achievement.
