Carlos Motta @MoMa

The Museum of Modern Art of New York exhibition Signal. How Video Transformed the Word has now opened, among which Carlos Motta’s installation We Who Feel Differently is being presented.

The exhibition highlights over 70 media works, drawn primarily from MoMA’s collection, with many never before seen at the Museum. It reveals the ways in which artists have posed video as an agent of global change—from televised revolution to electronic democracy- through a diverse range of work from the last six decades.

Based on interviews about the histories and development of LGBTQ politics, Motta’s We Who Feel Di is a project that discuss the notions of sexual difference, equality, citizenship and democracy in relation to sexual orientation and gender identity.

Signal. How Video Transformed the Word is on view until July 8th. Don’t miss it!
