Carlos Motta @Wexner Center for the Arts

Carlos Motta: Your Monsters, Our Idols, the artist’s largest presentation of work in the United States, opens today at the Wexner Center for the Arts.

The exhibition celebrates Carlos Motta commitment to radical difference through his work regarding critical issues of the LGBTQIA+ and ethnic minority communities. The exhibition brings together a selection of photographs, films, and installations that explore Motta’s major areas of exploration: colonialism’s impact on identity and democracy. The show presents collaborations with other artists such as Julio Salgado, Simon(e) Jaikiriuma Paetau, Tiamat Legion Medusa, and SPIT! (Sodomites, Perverts, Inverts Together!).

Carlos Motta: Your Monsters, Our Idols curated by Lucy Zimmerman will be on view until December 30, 2022 Wexner Center for the Arts. Don’t miss it!
