Bouchra Khalili @ Festival de l’Automne

This autumn, Le Festival de l’Automne celebrates Bouchra Khalili, whose work explores collective memory, invisible narratives, and the power of shared speech.

For her monographic exhibition at the Festival, Bouchra Khalili takes over three emblematic theatres:

📍T2 Gennevilliers : with Asterisms (Fig. 1): The Tempest Society | Sept 25 → Oct 26

📍Theatre Odeon : with Asterisms (Fig. 2): The Circle and The Public Storyteller | Oct 2 → Oct 26

📍Theatre de la ville de Paris : with Asterisms (Fig. 3): The Public Writer | Oct 22 → Oct 30

With Asterisms (Fig. 1–3), she unfolds video installations, 16mm films, and textile works: a sensitive journey through buried histories, performance, and moving images.

Questions of representation, collectivity, and transmission lie at the heart of this unique project.
