The Antechambre (Thai Crane) is a site-specific installation that comes from its first presentation The Antechamber, (Tundra Swan) in the Busan Biennale 2020. It is inspired by the poem βTundra Swanβ by South Korean poet Hyesoon Kim, which depicts the disembodiment between oneβs mind and oneβs physicality.
The Antechambre (Thai Crane) attempts to flatten humanβs psyche and realign it with all beings. The whole installation the symbology of the Thai crane is present, saved from near extinction, with flowers of fertility and birth.
The biennale is held until March 31st, 2022. Donβt miss it!
