Bianca Bondi in Changing the Prose of the World, the Fellows’ exhibition at Villa Medici

We are happy to announce that Bianca Bondi will be a part of Changing the Prose of the World, the Fellows’ exhibition at Villa Medici.

As every summer, the French Academy in Rome presents the collective work of its sixteen fellows in a final exhibition marking the conclusion of their residency. The exhibition opens the doors of the studios, allowing the projects developed throughout the year to move into the public realm.

Changing the Prose of the World gathers the works created during the fellows’ time at Villa Medici in Rome. The exhibition unfolds as a shared expression shaped by varied artistic disciplines—literature, music, art history, visual arts, photography, and cinema. It brings together multiple voices, languages, and research paths in a space where artistic thought meets critical reflection.

The exhibition is accompanied by a typographic intervention by Montasser Drissi. Sentences gathered, written or selected by the fellows, echo across the rooms and walls of the Villa, opening a dialogue with a line from a poem by Amelia Rosselli, which gives the exhibition its title.
