En 2003, ejerciendo como arquitecto y actuando con el grupo de rock Nekropsi, Erek obtuvo un master en ingenier\u00eda de sonido y dise\u00f1o en el Centro de Estudios Avanzados de M\u00fasica (MIAM) de la Universidad T\u00e9cnica de Estambul, donde tambi\u00e9n complet\u00f3 su doctorado.<\/p>\n<p>Su pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica est\u00e1 basada en los temas del sonido, la arquitectura, el ritmo, el tiempo medido, la m\u00fasica dance y las obras site-specific. Combinando video, sonido e imagen trata frecuentemente de alterar la percepci\u00f3n del espectador y la experiencia de un ambiente dado.
