Bianca Bondi @Palazzo Bollani

Discover Bianca Bondi’s work at the second chapter of Radicants exhibition PLANET B: Climate change and the new sublime: Charles Darwin and the coral reefs curated by Nicolas Bourriaud.

The show questions the contemporaneity of the Romantic concept of the sublime in the age of the Anthropocene. Parting from this idea, the artworks explore the impact of climate change on art today through the notion of the sublime, as defined by 18th-century philosopher Edmund Burke: “A delight tinged with terror.” Bianca Bondi is presenting her installation Wild and Slow, where she builds this species of bar structure surrounded by a two side salt paths which crystallize.

PLANET B: Climate change and the new sublime: Charles Darwin and the coral reefs is open until November 27, 2022 at Palazzo Bollani, Venice. Don’t miss it!
