Enzo Mianes

Enzo Mianes was born in 1988 in Toulouse, France
He lives and works in Paris

Enzo Mianes graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (2015). His work proposes to take objects out of their original context, thereby qualifying them with a poetic dimension. His researches usually depart from a narrative often related to the disappearance of beings, shapes, moments, memories or of matter itself.

Enzo Mianes evokes life through fragments of privacy and samples of a shared reality that take the shape of installations and sculptures. Each of his works appears as a remnant of intimate and contemporary mythologies.

He has participated in various exhibitions in venues such as: La Panacée, Montpellier, France (2018); Musée Sainte-Croix, Poitiers, France (2015); Château de la Roche-Guyon, France (2014); Vortex, Dijon, France (2013); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2012); the Project Room, Centre Pompidou-Metz, Metz, France (2011).

Enzo Mianes is the recipient of the Prix Clermont-Tonnerre (2015).
